AIEMA ( Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturing Association ) was started in the year 1963 to represent the interest of Industrial Units of Ambattur Industrial Estate. AIEMA to day has grown to 800 plus active members and represents a vast majority of the small-scale industries fraternity of the Ambattur Estate. Over the years, AIEMA has gained widespread recognition and reputation for its dynamic functioning and our Association is well respected by the Government Organizations and the media.
Skill Training Programme in light engineering is vital for the work force especially in automobile sector. These industries employing the technical persons at workmen level can operate any automobile components with perfection.
Aiema’s close association with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation has been immense and cordial that TNSDC wilfully agreed to sanction order for training 200 students in 4 Wheeler Mechanism followed by 400 students for CNC Turning and milling and presently 600 students in CNC Operating Machining Technician.
The training for the above courses were planned scrupulously, that 80% of the trainees were placed in several reputed companies like Rane Madras Ltd, Sri Balaji Motors, Lucas India, Royal Enfield, FPL Hyundai, TATA Motors and Wheels India Pvt. Ltd. The trainees were placed at various levels with salary ranging from 9000/- to 18,000/-
The outstanding performance by AIEMA has great impact in securing several training Projects in future from Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.
